Our farm consists of two different types of cattle operations.

JYJ Red Angus is a purebred seedstock operation where cattle are produced solely for breeding purposes. High-quality genetics are the main focus in breeding our cattle to produce efficient, top-performing cattle. JYJ Red Angus is owned and operated by Jim & Jessica Yance.

Yance Farms, Inc. is a third generation family farm managed by Jim Yance and includes a commercial cow-calf and diversified row crop operation. Yance Farms utilizes Red Angus genetics to produce top-quality feeder calves.

Our cattle are grown on multiple grazing pastures of the Yance family farm, located in Southeast Alabama, where we have been farming since 1947.

We raise cattle in an all-natural environment with high-quality standards. On our farm we uphold the values of stewardship as we strive to use natural resources to convert forage into healthy, tasty, nutritious beef year after year.
